The Greenwood Centre offers well appointed rooms for hire at affordable rates. The Centre is used year-round by community groups and individuals for business, recreational, health and education purposes as well as social events and special occasions.

The Greenwood Centre was officially opened in July 1992 by the Duchess of Gloucester..The site was formerly St. James's Church Hall, but part of the building dates back to 1860 when it formed part of the first school to be established in Hampton Hill.
The Centre is now the headquarters of the Hampton & Hampton Hill Voluntary Care Group, an independent registered local charity set up in 1994 by community- spirited volunteers.

GROUND FLOOR Rooms: Stanton Hall - A spacious hall seating up to 70 people.
  Kitchen - a well equipped kitchen area - complimentary use with certain hire packages.
  Reception - a friendly and welcoming receptioon area.
  Coffee Bar Area - an informal meeting area with cafe style facilities

 

FIRST FLOOR Rooms:

 

Oak Room - a large meeting room seating up to 50 people with DVD and laptop projector. Balcony with outside seating.

 

Maple Room - a small and cosy meeting room.

  Holly room - Office facility for VCG and confidential quiet room.

The Greenwood Centre is wheelchair friendly. There is a lift to the first floor and a disabled toilet on the ground floor.
  • General Facilities - Ladies/ gents/ disabled toilets, fixed and portableTV's, video/DVD, display projectors and overhead projector, screens, telephones, piano, tables and chairs, Caretaker service.
  • VCG office (during hours) - Photcopying, fax ,email and internet (available on donation basis).
