Greenwood Centre - Hampton Enterprise

Accesible door-to-door community transport

If you have a mobility problem , or for any reason are unable to use public transport, Hampton Enterprise provides an excellent alternative.

It's a partnership project between Hampton & Hampton Hill Voluntary Care Group (VCG) and Richmond and Kingston Accessible Transport (RaKAT), administered from The Greenwood Centre.

Volunteer Car Drivers
Providing transport to hospitals, surgeries, day centres, chiropodists, hairdressers etc.

Shopping Bus Service
4-times-a - week door-to-store minibus service , with an escort to help with your shopping.

Day Centre Transport
To Linden Hall twice a week; Homelink once a week.

Enterprise Minibus
Excursions to parks, gardens and many other places of interest. (We also have a Eurobus Twin fully adaptable people carrier).

What it Costs
There is an annual donation for registration of £12.00;and suggested donations for car journeys are £1.00 to £2.00 and the shopping bus £1.20. Excursions are costed individually.

Drive a car and / or minibus? You would be a valuable addition to our drivers' roster. If you'd prefer to to be an escort on our Shopping Bus, we'd be equally delighted to hear from you.

If you have the odd hour to spare per week (or month) we would be most grateful for your time and driving skill. (No regular commitment is necessary). To set the wheels in motion, contact Frances or Fiona.
